Europe’s first spot Bitcoin ETF launching on Euronext Amsterdam

Jacobi Asset Management will launch a spot Bitcoin ETF on Euronext Amsterdam. The Jacobi Bitcoin ETF will start trading in July 2022 under the ticker BCOIN.Â
First spot ETF to access Bitcoin in Europe
Jacobi Asset Management, a London-based investment firm announced the approval of the Jacobi Bitcoin ETF on Twitter as “a new era for European institutional investors”. In fact, the Jacobi spot Bitcoin ETF will be the first exchange-traded Bitcoin product for institutional investors in Europe.
Euronext Amsterdam as largest exchange to list a spot Bitcoin ETF
With Euronext Amsterdam as part of the pan-European Euronext exchange group, the new spot Bitcoin ETF is now launching on one of the world’s largest exchanges by market capitalization.

It is also the first initial listing of a crypto fund in the Netherlands.
Jamie Khurshid: "Innovative product pipeline" to come
Jamie Khurshid, CEO of Jacobi Asset Management, announced: “The Jacobi Bitcoin ETF will enable investors to access the underlying performance of this exciting asset class via a well-established and trusted investment structure. Our goal at Jacobi is to make digital asset investments simpler and more familiar for institutional and professional investors.”
He also gave an outlook on the future: “We have an ambitious vision and look forward to bringing an innovative product pipeline to the market very soon”.
The new Jacobi Bitcoin ETF is another step in the currently rising global adoption of crypto spot ETFs. Investors can look forward to what the future holds.
