Binance aims to go viral with new collaborations

The largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance is currently celebrating its 5th birthday with numerous campaigns such as community competitions and giveaways. Even more exciting than the celebrations are two recently announced collaborations.
Binance goes TikTok
On June 30, Binance announced TikTok star Khaby Lame as a new brand ambassador. According to a recent tweet, in addition to a NFT collection, the focus of the collaboration lies primarily on educational videos which, for example, debunk crypto myths.

Through this partnership we will:
🔸Drive crypto education
🔸Launch exclusive Khaby Lame NFT collections
🔸Debunk crypto & Web3 myths
🔸Grow the industry & #Binance ecosystem

With this partnering, Binance seems to have recognized the spirit of time and aims to reach a new, predominantly very young target group that is active on social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.
NFT partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo
Shortly before this collaboration, it had just been made public that one of the most famous sportsmen ever had entered into a multi-year NFT partnership with Binance.
Binance announced on June 23: “We’re kicking off an exclusive multi-year NFT partnership with football legend Cristiano Ronaldo. This is your opportunity to own an iconic piece of sports history and join CR7’s Web3 community”.
Collaborations could pay off for Binance
The two new collaborations could soon pay off for Binance. On the one hand, Cristiano Ronaldo and Khaby Lame have a huge follower base on their social media accounts and thus, of course, a large reach. On the other hand, both could open up completely new perspectives for Binance.
The sports NFT sector is growing and Binance has now put itself in a strategically good position by partnering with Cristiano Ronaldo. It has long been known that physical sports collectibles like Panini stickers or digital sports collectibles like FIFA players work well. Why should it be any different with football NFTs?
In addition to this, Khaby Lame’s videos have the potential to teach complex crypto knowledge in a humorous way and thus attract people who have not yet been involved with the topic of cryptocurrencies. For Binance, this could be converted 1:1 into customer growth – if implemented well.
By partnering with Cristiano Ronaldo, the most followed person on Instagram (462 million followers as of today) and collaborating with Khaby Lame, the most followed person on TikTok (145 million followers as of today), Binance has definitely scored double!
